In 2016, JL DESIGN partnered up with AKQA Shanghai to create a digital, mobile platform that would provide a "dynamic digital experience" to promote LYCRA's stockings, jeans, and underwear. Each of the products utilises a music video to tell a life story, while the dynamic lines representing the product features are interspersed throughout the video to picture the core concept: the differences are vast. This allows viewers to fully immerse themselves into the world of textiles from a micro perspective, showcasing the brand’s unique pursuits and product features.
The goal of the collaboration was to design a digital mobile platform experience for the promotion of LYCRA’s products. The focus was on the features and advantages of the brand’s stockings, jeans, and underwear.
Building off AKQA's creativity, JL DESIGN created interactive animations of LYCRA's products for mobile phone browsing. The narrative approach combines dynamic visuals to present the features of different products and speaks of the core concept: the differences are vast.
Through our different, creative motion designs of the three product ranges, viewers are able to fully immerse themselves into the world of textiles and see the unique features of each product. In short, the online platform provides a new perspective on the brand.
